Abstract

In the light of newly developed Technologies, small-sized programmable sensor components capable of various perception and communication capabilities can be designed to collect large scaled data and transmit those to the desired target with partnering methods. A wireless sensor network is defined as a collection of numerous nodes in different locations, organized into a cooperative network in order to follow physical or environmental conditions such as, heat, sound, pressure, motion, pollution…etc. in collaboration. Despite the wireless sensor network systems has a broad range of application areas, limited supplies of power and limited computation and communication capabilities of nodes used in the network brings out various constraints to the designed appliances. Limits of power supply directly affect the lifespan of the wireless sensor networks, thus, studies on the energy efficiency of any node comprising the wireless sensor network has a significant importance. In this work, routing studies developed for wireless sensor networks will be compared in terms of energy efficiency and their superiorities to each other depending on the network structure and environmental conditions will be conceived

Abstract

With the rapidly developing information technology, institutions store the most important data in digital storage. This information is the most important data sources to create the company’s institutional knowledge. All information obtained by the Company is the company’s know-how. There are many workflow process such as reducing the cost, improving the quality of products and services offered by the company, ensure the efficiency, satisfying the expectations and demands of customers. There are several open source applications to manage each of these workflow processes and these applications produce qualitative or quantitative data. Management of big data which increases with growth of the company is quite difficult. This may cause false recognition of the important knowledge which is hidden in big data while data analysis and reporting. Text mining methods can be used for the analysis which is extremely important in order to increase the enterprise business intelligence of these data. In this study, A model is suggested to generate useful knowledge in big data which created by open source applications with text mining methods such as classification, association analysis, feature extraction and clustering.

Abstract

With the spread of the Internet use, it appears to be an ever-increasing necessity for the institutions to increase the quality of the information they provide to the mass they serve and to meet the needs. In existing systems, this necessity either is provided by half updatable web software in which management is centralized or is realized by the users who do not have sufficient knowledge. In both conditions, the presented content is unqualified or the system providing the content has a dangerous structure with many security holes. In this case, in the institutions such as universities that have a hierarchic structure, an easier solution should be offered to the units or personnel. In this study, a content management system (CMS) suggestion is offered in order to be used in institutions that have an institutional hierarchic structure. The aim is to develop a web-based content management system that makes an employee, who works as the webmaster in any unit, someone who could manage the system which has all web services without needing no more than usual computer usage knowledge.

Abstract

In this study, a system that provides an individual studying program which brings up user statistics and user performance charts in a web based education system was designed. This system was used for users’ success statistics in web based foreign language learning system. In the study done, thanks to the designed system, with data obtained by measuring the output of the user’s learning process, a productive and dynamic studying program is provided to the student. In addition, the system, by providing various statistics about individual education process to the student, brings up the user’s performance charts. Thus, it is aimed to have a more productive study by giving some information such as user’s studying graphic, subject statistics, module statistics, vocabulary and performance statistics.
